Homeless Project Notes UPDATE

Talked to Kathie Anderson Preston last night and she offered this information for your teams:

Something that might fall under the idea of "Project Promise" is a campaign they thought could be a possibility for them to use throughout the year is to have a campaign like "Post it notes" that would show up on their website  (even "Wishes Met") which allows their organization to "post" the needs of others daily/weekly/monthly regarding items they would like to have or need.
Could be a bicycle for their kids or clothing or food/shelter.

A "white board" or "Black board" idea of sorts that they would post and comes directly from the people who need things the most. Then there would be a follow up to let the audience know these "posted items" were donated or bartered or received by those who need them.

Everyone could see what was needed/donated/given/received.

A real "call to action" campaign that actually serves as the "go between" the ones who have and those who do not have.

It's a great idea if anyone wants to take this on in some capacity.

Also, they are working on getting the name or names of individuals who might be able to talk to you or at least they can furnish you with audio from conversations. I told Kathie you needed these by end of week in order to make this a reality for you campaigns.  Hang tight and we'll see.
She is in Savannah this week and will try her best to get you information or answer your questions.
